David Harold Blackburn, age 82, of Felicity, Ohio, passed away on May 1, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 27, 1942, in Neville, Ohio, at his Grandma Donovan's house, to the late Ross and Virginia Blackburn.

David was a devoted husband of 63 years to his beloved wife, Janet Blackburn. Together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories. He was the proud father of the late Pamela Sue Blackburn, and the loving father of Jeffery (Tina) Blackburn and Mark David (Tonia) Blackburn.

He was a dedicated grandpa to Desirae (Mike) Trummer, Wyatt (Mallory) Blackburn, Cheyenne Trammell, Jace Blackburn, Kalyn Blackburn, and Bralyn Blackburn. David was also a proud great-grandpa to Reigan Trummer, Aspen Trummer, and eagerly awaiting the arrival of Baby Blackburn “Wilma.”

David leaves behind his cherished brother, Les Blackburn, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A man of many passions, David loved the simple joys of life. He had a deep affection for fishing, traveling with friends, and spending time with his family. He was always the life of the party, entertaining others with his quick wit and fun-loving spirit. A gifted poet, David often expressed his creativity through writing. Above all, he took immense pride in supporting his grandkids at their sporting events, always showing up to cheer them on.

David’s legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched, his infectious smile, and his unwavering love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Dave was also an active member of the Moscow Masonic Lodge F&AM 122 and Felicity Christian Church since 1988. 

Masonic Services will be at the Felicity Christian Church, 847 State Route 133, Felicity, Ohio 45120, on Monday, May 5, 2025 at 12:00 Pm, with funeral services to follow.  Visitation will also be on Monday, May 5, 2025 from 10:00 Am to 12:00 Pm, also at the church. 

Arrangements by the Charles H. McIntyre Funeral Home, 323 Union Street, Felicity, Ohio 45120. 

Burial will be  at the Neville Vesper Cemetery, Neville, Ohio .
